Answer
How does live activation printing work?
Guests choose a product and design, a Merch Troop operator presses it in seconds, the piece cools and gets a quick check, and it goes out the door on a real person.

The flow, start to finish
Before doors open, we have already built press-ready files from your campaign artwork, sourced and stocked the blanks, and set the station. During the activation the guest experience is simple and fast:
- Pick: a guest chooses a product — tee, cap, tote, tumbler — and a design from a clear menu.
- Press: a trained operator aligns the transfer and presses it. With live DTF this takes seconds. Guests stay on the safe side of the table.
- Cool: the finished piece hits a cool rack and gets a quick quality check.
- Handoff: the guest walks away wearing a branded piece — a moving billboard for the campaign.
Why DTF is the core method
Live DTF heat pressing gives full, photo-quality color with no color limit, a soft hand feel, and a machine-washable finish that lasts long after the event. It is faster than screen printing on a live line and far more colorful, which is why it carries most activations. Patch bars, embroidery, UV DTF, and laser round out the menu for specific product moments.
Questions
Common questions
How long does each piece take?
Once the line is flowing, a live DTF press takes about ten seconds per piece. The real speed of the station is set by the whole flow — the menu, guest choices, and handoff — which we design to keep the line moving.
Do we need to provide anything?
Just your artwork and the run of show. We build the press-ready files, source and stock the blanks, bring the equipment and crew, and handle setup and teardown. You approve the plan and we run it.
